ARCHIVE – Conference STOP PIRACY
Colloquium: «Fight Against Counterfeiting and Piracy in the Digital Era»
What are the challenges in the fight against counterfeiting and piracy in the digital age? Are 3D printers about to become the new money spinner for counterfeiters? What measures are in place in Switzerland to combat counterfeit goods being sold online? The new copyright law strengthens the fight against internet piracy by allowing data to be processed for the criminal prosecution of copyright infringements, but how will this actually be carried out in practice and what are the challenges involved?
It is these and further topics that the STOP PIRACY Association, the Centre for Intellectual Property and Innovation [PI]2 of the University of Neuchâtel and the Institut de lutte contre la criminalité économique ILCE will attempt to shed light on during the Fight Against Counterfeiting and Piracy in the Digital Era colloquium. This event will take place on Friday, 4 September 2020 after the STOP PIRACY Association’s annual general meeting at the Haute école de gestion Arc in Neuchâtel.
