Edouard Bugnion

As Federal Cybersecurity Delegate for Switzerland, Florian Schütz is responsible for the implementation of the Swiss cyberstrategy and all cybermatters across government. He further acts as the contact person for the cantons, the economy, scientific communities and the population. In his function, he reports directly to the Federal Council.

He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Master of Advanced Studies in Security Policy and Crisis Management from the ETH Zurich. He has over ten years of experience in the field of cybersecurity. Among other positions he has held, Florian worked for Siemens where he contributed to the development of railway control centres and for RUAG – a Swiss defence contractor – where he headed the unit providing cybersecurity solutions and services to government and private clients. He also worked for Zalando – Europe's largest online-only fashion platform – where he built and ran the security unit covering all of Zalando. Above all, his previous work means that he knows how to build security that scales, how to balance business opportunities and cyber-risks, how to make decisions during large cyberincidents and how to explain cybersecurity to a non-technical audience.

Frédéric Pilloud is the director of the Association Sécurité Riviera. This pioneering and learning organization includes the Police, Ambulance, Civil Protection, Fire and Rescue Services, as well as administrative support.

He has been active in the field of public security for about 30 years and has a complete police training up to the level of staff officer. He also holds a federal diploma as an adult trainer and an executive diploma in public action. He willingly shares his experiences, notably by working as an expert during the exams for the executives of rescue organizations.

He is an expert in collective intelligence and has led several large-scale operations and managed different types of crises, including the cyber attack in Montreux in October 2021.

Jacques Boschung

As SVP & GM for Kudelski Security EMEA, Jacques Boschung is responsible for driving growth for Kudelski Security in Europe, managing the company’s sales strategy and the relationships with high-profile clients, as part of its continued European expansion. Prior to joining the Kudelski Group, Jacques Boschung worked for Inovalon – a leading US provider of data-driven insights for healthcare -, where he was President and GM of their Payer Business, a portfolio of SaaS solutions for US health insurance companies. In this role, he was responsible for the management, product portfolio, delivery, operations, sales, client success, and overall performance of the largest segment of Inovalon’s business.

Before that, he served in several executive roles within Dell Technologies from 2004 through 2018, most recently as Senior Vice President responsible for Dell Technologies Global Alliances and the $1.4 billion business of Dell EMC's Telco partnerships within the EMEA regions. He also worked for Compaq and IBM in different leadership capacities.

Jacques Boschung is also the chairman of BlueFactory Fribourg (BFF), the innovation incubator of the City & of the Canton of Fribourg since 2018 and member of the board of Swiss Medical Network, a leading Swiss clinics operator. He holds BS and master’s degrees in nuclear engineering from the University of Lausanne & the EPFL.

Jean-Damien Marie was appointed Global Co-Head of Investments in July 2019. In addition to his role, he is also Head of Investments Europe and Head of Distribution for GGM.

Jean-Damien, who joined Barclays in 2018, previously worked for Pictet Alternative Advisors SA in Geneva as Head of Alternative Investments Solutions, advising institutional and private clients across alternatives strategies and private markets.

Prior to that, Jean-Damien held similar roles at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in London and Geneva as well as HSBC Private bank in Geneva where he also focused on long only multi-asset solutions. Prior to these appointments, Dr. Rickli was an assistant professor at the Department of Defence Studies of King’s College London. Mauro Vignati

In 2003 Mauro Vignati started working at the first cybercrime unit of the Swiss Federal Police. Later on, he collaborated to the establishment of MELANI, Switzerland's first centre for public-private partnership on cybersecurity for critical infrastructure. Back in 2013, he set up and led the Cyber Threat Intelligence Division within the Department of Defence in Bern. Jacques de Werra is Professor of contract law and intellectual property (IP) law and Director of the Digital Law Center (www.digitallawcenter.ch) at the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva. From 2015 until 2019, he was Vice-Rector of the University of Geneva in charge of leading the University’s digital strategy. Jacques de Werra has taught as visiting professor at leading universities including Harvard Law School (as Charles Hieken Visiting Professor in Patent Law for a course on international intellectual property transactions - winter term 2022 -), Stanford Law School, Paris II Panthéon-Assas, Nagoya University and City University of Hong Kong.

He has practiced law (commercial law, IP law and arbitration) in Switzerland (Geneva and Zurich) at a major business law firm and has obtained an LL.M. degree from Columbia Law School and was admitted to the New York bar (in addition to his admission to the Swiss bar). As an expert in cybersecurity strategy and technology, Simone Fortin is currently Chief Information Security Officer for MSC Cruises leading the strategic corporate direction for ashore and onboard Cybersecurity initiatives and responsible for the Cybersecurity department.
